May 7---Now PF accuses Fr. Frank Bwalya of being a Tonga from Pemba

Fr. Frank Bwalya, the man Chishimba Kabwili accused of having wanted to form a political party much earlier so that a Tonga does not rule, has now been accused of being a Tonga himself.

According to the government owned but PF controlled Zambia Daily Mail of yesterday, Fr. Bwalya wants to work with UPND president Hakainde Hichilema because his father is Tonga from Pemba District in Southern Province.

But another PF mouth piece, the Post newspaper, quotes Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili as saying he was approached by Fr. Bwalya to form a political party so that Tonga does not rule.

Fr Bwalya has strongly been criticising President Sata and saying the Sata people voted for ‘died’ a long time ago.
“I am back. I apologise to UPND leader HH and MMD President Dr Nevers Mumba for not speaking out for them when they were arrested on flimsy charges on Livingstone and Kitwe, respectively,” he said.

Fr Bwalya also said people were losing hope in the PF and the promises the party made even in terms of the fight against corruption, citing President Sata’s statement advising the Anti-Corruption Commission to notify him before investigating ministers which he hoped was a slip of the tongue.

Fr Bwalya wants to form a political party and stand for presidency in 2016.

A COUNCIL operation to impound vehicles from loading from undesignated
stations on Wednesday led to road traffic accident on the Kitwe-Ndola
dual carriageway.
The accident involving a Mitsubishi Canter registration number ALE
9322 and a Mitsubishi fuso fighter truck registration number ACC 1266
happened near the junction of Central Street.
The accident happened when the council police impounded the Canter and
ordered the driver to turn and in the process of turning, rammed into
Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter headed to Ndola and had nine people on board.
Kitwe police commanding officer Freddy Mulenga confirmed the incident
which happened on Wednesday around 13:50 hours.
Mr Mulenga said four out of the nine people on board were injured and
rushed to Kitwe Central Hospital where they were treated and later
discharged.
Kitwe Commanding officer Fred confirmed the incident in a telephone
interview that it took place around 13:40 hours at Nkana east traffic
lights.
He named the injured persons as Bratone Muchangu, a resident of
Chilibombwe, Gradison Mvula resident of Kalulushi, Melody Chanda a
resident of Luanshya and Raphael Mulenga resident of Kabwe.
Mr Mulenga, however, could not give more details because police were
still investigating circumstances that led to the accident.
But Robert Sichitalwe, the driver of the canter said he was coming
from Kasumbalesa border post and was getting back to Kabwe.
He said when he was driving past the junction of the Central Street,
he saw people hiking and so decided to offer them a lift.
“When I stopped, I was approached by council personnel who said were
impounding the vehicle for loading from an undesignated station,” he
said.
Mr Sichitalwe said it was in the process of struggle with the council
officers who had directed him to turn and drive to the civic centre
that he hit into the Fuso truck.
